Almetra raises €16.3 million to bring AI to the factory floor

Almetra, formerly known as Deltia, has raised €16.3 million in Series A funding. The round was led by blisce/, with participation from NAP, Merantix Capital, Robin Capital, Underline, Critical Ventures and business angels.
The Berlin-based company helps manufacturers understand what is happening on their production lines. Its platform combines camera-based observations with operational information to make cycle times, output and equipment utilisation easier to analyse. The goal is to help factory teams identify bottlenecks and improve processes using evidence from the shop floor.
The funding will support product development and expansion into the United States. Almetra also plans to extend its platform towards more advanced automation, including selected robotics applications.
For our portfolio company, the round marks a new stage in bringing practical AI tools to industrial operations.
