Roofline receives EIC backing for its edge AI compiler technology

Roofline has been selected for the European Innovation Council’s Accelerator programme. The company announced a €2.5 million grant and a pre-committed equity investment for its next financing round.

The award supports Roofline’s work on compiler technology for deploying AI models on edge devices. Its project focuses on making that deployment scalable across different hardware targets.

For teams building edge AI products, the route from a model to an application running on a device can be a significant engineering challenge. Roofline is working on the software infrastructure behind that step.
