Knowunity raises €10 million to bring social learning to more students
The funding will support product development and international expansion for the student-led learning platform.
May 24, 2022
Knowunity has raised €10 million in Series A funding, co-led by Redalpine and Stride. Existing investors including Project A participated, alongside angel investors such as Mario Götze and the founders of Booking.com and Preply.
Built by founders who first developed the idea while still at school, Knowunity gives students a space to share learning materials and help one another. Students can publish educational content, ask questions and learn together in a mobile environment designed around their school curriculum.
At the time of the announcement, the platform had reached more than 2.4 million users. The new funding will support further product development, team growth and expansion into additional countries.
We’re excited to see Knowunity make peer-to-peer learning available to more students and build on the community at the heart of its product.
