JUPUS raises €6.5 million to expand AI workflows for law firms

JUPUS has raised €6.5 million in seed funding, led by Acton Capital. Existing investors, including High-Tech Gründerfonds and business angels, also participated.

The Cologne-based company develops AI software for the operational work of law firms. It brings client communication, appointment coordination, case preparation and document drafting into one platform, helping teams organise tasks that would otherwise require repeated manual handling.

Founded by René Fergen and Jannis Gebauer in 2022, JUPUS was already working with hundreds of law firms in Germany at the time of the announcement. The new capital will support further product development and expansion in the market.

We’re pleased to see the team build on its earlier progress and help law firms create more capacity for the work that needs their attention.
